Moving to Spain on a visa, applying for residency, or studying there? Spain belongs to the Hague Apostille Convention, so your U.S. documents need an apostille, not embassy legalization. We prepare it here and get it back to you.

Documents we most often prepare for Spain
FBI background checks · birth and marriage certificates · diplomas and transcripts
Good to know
- Spain usually wants a sworn translation by a traductor jurado, including a translation of the apostille page. Get the apostille first, then the translation. We can arrange it from $195 for a one-page document.
- Recent documents. Many Spanish consulates want FBI checks and birth or marriage certificates issued within the last 3 months. Check with yours before you order.
How it works
- 1Send us a scan. We check it for free and confirm the price and timeline.
- 2Bring or mail the original. Walk in at 2706 Harbor Blvd., Ste. 206, Costa Mesa, or use our prepaid label. Anything mailed must already be notarized.
- 3We get the apostille from the California Secretary of State, or the U.S. Department of State for federal documents.
- 4Pay and collect. Pay online once it's reviewed, then pick up in Costa Mesa, or we ship it to you or straight abroad.
We usually reply within 30 minutes during office hours, with the exact price, steps and timeline.
Living elsewhere in the U.S., or already in Spain? You don't need to visit. Email us a scan for a free check, mail us the original, and we ship it back by FedEx or DHL. See our mail-in apostille service.
