DOCUMENT PRIVACY

Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026. Your documents are personal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

When you request a quote or place an order, we collect your name, email address and phone number, the destination country, and any document scans or originals you send us. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type.

How we use it

We use your information only to review your documents, prepare your quote, process your apostille, legalization, translation or notarization, arrange shipping, take payment and contact you about your order. We do not sell your information or use your documents for any other purpose.

Who we share it with

Only those needed to complete your order: government offices (such as the California Secretary of State, the U.S. Department of State and foreign embassies or consulates), certified translators, shipping carriers and our payment processor. Each receives only what that step requires.

How we protect your documents

Physical documents are kept secure at our office and returned to you or forwarded as you instruct. Digital scans are used only to complete your order. We don't keep them after your transaction is complete.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, unless we must keep it to complete an order or meet a legal requirement. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies.
